Heck, Buy a HIP!

Franchisors must…

love children, be patient, laugh a lot, love to go barefoot, like to climb trees, chase lightening bugs, love sleepovers and not mind shaving cream in their face if they are the first to fall asleep. Love to paint, love to cook, and not mind tasting things that look like a nine year old made it… because they did!

They must stick up for the underdog and practice strong leadersHIP skills, let kids make mistakes and work well with lots of noise. Play charades, pretend that Duck, Duck, Goose is fun and make up stories to tell.

Give back to your community and teach that giving with a joyful heart makes you feel wonderful. Pray for health and joy for the children and teach them to pray for each other.

Use the seasons as a classroom, swim in the summer, dance in the rain when spring showers come, use the leaves as a blanket to hide under, and snow angels are a must.

Escape technology and get back to the basics. Think of stuff your grandparents taught you. Long walks and handwritten letters don’t have to be a thing of the past. The only way to teach patience is to be patient. Don’t believe in “Do what I say, NOT what I do." It doesn’t work… ever.

Sing funny songs. Act like a ten year old, even when parents are around. Walk on your hands. If you can’t, find someone who can. Life is art, admire it.

Say “You’re beautiful, you’re smart, you’re amazing” out loud. Now make the kids repeat it out loud. Do this often, until they all believe it. Practice the Golden Rule! Outlaw the word “can’t”… period.
